Betsy Damian

I am fascinated by watercolor, the transparency of the medium, the way the colors mix together on the paper, the differing qualities of each pigment. My paintings are mostly of places and things that you would experience on any given day. I try to create paintings that reflect a certain mood or atmosphere and to present images that will bring to mind personal memories, or reminders of particular events.
