Julie ReganJulie Regan grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her stories and essays have been published in anthologies including Transgressions: the Iowa Anthology of Innovative Fiction and another notoriously titled Semiotext(e) book as well as literary journals and magazines including The Iowa Review, LIT, Movement Research Journal, Issues Magazine, and Mirage. Her plays and performance works have been performed in theatres and galleries in San Francisco, New York, Providence and the Czech Republic. She has been an artist in residence at the Wurlitzer Foundation, the Vermont Studio Center, the Edward Albee Foundation, La Casa Internacional del Escritor de Bacalar and the Sociedad General de Escritores de México. She has an MFA from Brown University and is currently working on her PhD at Harvard.
