Sue WurzelI have loved art all my life, simply because I am drawn to beauty. I have never made much of a distinction between "fine arts" vs. crafts. My training as an artist has come in bits and pieces. As a child I was always the artist in the classroom, experimenting with all sorts of materials and methods. My attraction to a wide variety of media still exists today. I have studied drawing, illustration, collage, watercolor, weaving, and oil painting. I believe that my most valuable art education has come from two time honored methods: the countless hours that I have spent learning on my own, and my lessons and critiques with teachers and peers. www.suewurzel.com More of Sue Wurzel's work ![]() Sue Wurzel, "After the Bath" - dog hair, felt, and paint on handwoven cotton background, 9" x 9 1/2" |
