Past Events - David Bass/ North Cambridge Family Opera

Please come to the North Cambridge Family Opera's production of David Haines' THE PUZZLE JIGS, The Puzzle Jigsan upbeat family opera that presents a multi-colored world inhabited by puzzle pieces. When a little girl falls asleep and finds herself transported into the Jigsaw Puzzle World, xenophobic pieces brand her an outcast! Not until the Puzzle Jigs venture into the Real World, where they themselves are rejected, do they learn the lesson of the importance of accepting people's differences.  This inspiring, original, 1-hour show (plus intermission) is a spectacle of singing and dancing for audiences of all ages, with a breathtakingly beautiful musical score.

Assisting in this production are award-winning choreographer Deborah Mason and acclaimed set designer Peter Watson, with lighting design by former Boston Opera technical director Dale Senechal.
