Artist Statement
Painting the local landscape has always held a fascination for me. My latest work has been inspired by the manmade and natural environments in and around my home in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  The interaction of land, architecture, water and sky is a continual source of inspiration that to attempt to capture working outdoors with acrylics. 

Most recently, my interest has been in portraying wetland environments contrasted with the introduction of digitalized pixels.  These images juxtapose heavily textured pumice and metallic paint in the areas representing nature against flat acrylic pixels representing digital reality.
